Lexi and Caleb’s wedding at Historic Deglman Farm in Princeton, Minnesota was one of those days that reminds me why I love what I do. Between the stunning outdoor setting, heartfelt family tributes, and their joyful, dance-filled reception—it was the perfect blend of sentimental and celebratory.

A Ceremony Full of Meaning

The couple exchanged vows outdoors in front of 180 of their closest friends and family. With a dusty blue, white, and eucalyptus color palette, the entire day had a soft, romantic feel that fit perfectly with the natural setting of the farm. But it was the personal details that made this wedding truly unforgettable:

• Lexi had pieces of memorial fabric sewn into her dress, a touching tribute to loved ones who couldn’t be there in person.

• The couple used heirloom champagne flutes that once belonged to their grandparents.

• Later in the night, Lexi surprised everyone—including her grandma—with a special dance dedicated to her late grandpa. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

The First Look & Photos That Feel Like You

The day began with quiet moments at the venue. Lexi and her girls got into their dresses, touched up their makeup, and then it was time for one of my favorite parts of the day—the first look.

The way Caleb looked at Lexi during their first look made it clear: this day wasn’t just about the pretty details (although there were plenty!). It was about a deep, steady kind of love. The kind that carries through life’s biggest moments.

We captured full wedding party photos before the ceremony, complete with the sweetest flower girl and energetic ring bearers. From joyful portraits with family to stolen moments between the couple, everything felt relaxed and genuine.

The Celebration Continues at this Historic Deglman Farm Wedding

After a heartfelt ceremony, guests mingled during social hour while we grabbed a few extra portraits. Dinner kicked off at 5:30 with an Olive Garden buffet (yes, dreams do come true!), followed by heartfelt speeches and a packed dance floor by 7:00 PM.

DJ Jonathan Clemons kept the energy high, and the couple's first dances melted into a night full of movement, laughter, and love. I stayed through the early part of the dancing, capturing candid moments of guests celebrating and Lexi + Caleb soaking it all in.
